Schedly

Privacy Policy

Your information, clearly explained.

This policy explains what information Schedly collects, why it is used, when it is shared, and the choices available to you.

Effective and last updated: August 11, 2026

1. Who operates Schedly

“Schedly” (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an application developed and operated by an independent developer. The service is available at schedly.liamkellum.com.

Questions or privacy requests may be sent to contact@mail.schedly.liamkellum.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide or generate while using Schedly, including:

  • Account information: your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and account status.
  • Profile preferences: your confirmed time zone, theme, and onboarding status. Schedly does not request precise GPS location.
  • Academic planning data: assignment titles, descriptions, courses, deadlines, desired completion dates, difficulty, importance, estimated effort, output length, completion status, and working links.
  • Resources: resource titles, notes, links, uploaded files, filenames, file types, file sizes, and assignment associations.
  • Technical and security information: authentication cookies, request information, IP address, device or browser information, and service logs that may be processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers.
  • Communications: information included when you contact us for support or submit a privacy request.

Global search uses assignment and resource metadata. Schedly does not search inside uploaded file contents.

3. Local demo mode

When Schedly is intentionally operated in demo mode, demo assignments, preferences, and uploaded demo files are stored locally in that browser using browser storage such as IndexedDB. Clearing browser data, resetting the demo, or changing devices may permanently remove that information.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and secure accounts, maintain sessions, and provide password recovery;
  • display, rank, search, and manage assignments, deadlines, calendars, and resources;
  • store and deliver private uploaded files;
  • provide exports, account controls, support, and requested communications;
  • detect abuse, investigate errors, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations; and
  • understand and improve reliability, accessibility, and performance using privacy-conscious operational information.

Depending on your location, these uses may be based on performing the service you requested, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Schedly, or compliance with law.

5. Cookies and similar storage

Schedly uses authentication cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, maintain security, remember appearance preferences, preserve drafts, and support demo mode. These technologies are used for service functionality rather than third-party advertising. Blocking required storage may prevent account or scheduling features from working.

6. Service providers and disclosure

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate and protect Schedly, including to:

  • Supabase, which provides authentication, database, and private file-storage infrastructure;
  • Vercel, which provides application hosting, delivery, and operational infrastructure;
  • an email delivery provider when configured for account confirmation, password recovery, and security messages;
  • professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and service integrity; and
  • a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the service, subject to appropriate protections.

Schedly does not sell personal information or use assignment content for targeted advertising.

7. Data security

Schedly uses authenticated access, row-level database security, private file storage, encrypted network transport, owner-scoped records, and short-lived download links. Uploaded files are not made publicly accessible by default. No security measure is infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Retention and deletion

Account information and saved content are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may delete assignments and resources, remove uploaded files, export supported account data, or request permanent account deletion through Settings. Deletion may be delayed where retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, or legal compliance. Backup copies are removed according to provider retention cycles.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, or to withdraw consent. Use the controls available in Schedly or email contact@mail.schedly.liamkellum.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection authority.

10. International processing

Schedly and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers. Provider locations and protections may vary according to the infrastructure selected for the service.

11. Students and children

Schedly is designed for students capable of managing their own academic planning accounts and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted.

Schedly may contain links to academic resources, user-provided working documents, and other third-party services. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies. Schedly does not control those external services.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Schedly changes or legal requirements evolve. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.

14. Contact
